About Roosthaven

Roosthaven is more than a business — it is a journey built around family, hospitality, creativity and a love for making people feel at home.

The name Roosthaven was created from our family surnames, Roos and Oosthuizen, but over the years it has come to mean something much more: a haven from the storms of life.

Our journey began in 2017, when we took a leap from almost 30 years of corporate life and opened our own Beauty Spa. In 2019, Roosthaven evolved into a Guesthouse & Spa, welcoming guests into a warm and comfortable home away from home. During the challenges of 2020, we adapted once again and introduced an online shop, allowing us to continue connecting with people in a different way.

Today, Roosthaven continues to evolve. Our Guesthouse remains at the heart of what we do, while the Roosthaven Deli and online shop allow us to share our homemade food, treats and products beyond our doorstep.

Although the shape of Roosthaven has changed over the years, our philosophy has remained the same: to create something personal, welcoming and genuine — a little haven where people can feel cared for, enjoy good things and simply feel at home.
